The high motility of immune cells is coupled to their ability to detect and eliminate pathogens and tumors. The study of the mechanistic rules that govern the migratory patterns of the various immune cell subsets represents a very active field of research.
The workshop aims at presenting up-to-date experimental approaches to investigate human immune cell motility in the context of health and disease. Following a series of seminars, selected participants will implement in vitro cell motility assays and apply analytical tools in dedicated hands-on sessions.
