Regular evaluations and supervision by independent experts are an essential component of quality control at LBI-RUD. The scientific advisory board (SAB) meets annually with LBI-RUD researchers to review and discuss the progress of the research program and the institute’s performance. I

In order to achieve and maintain the highest standards of research, the board also provides expert advice on strategic questions concerning the research program, the academic career development of LBI-RUD team members, and the general organization of the institute. The LBI-RUD SAB consists of five world-renowned experts in their respective fields:
